Be sure and save the date for SCCYC's Opening Day celebration on March 12. The sign up board will be up in the clubhouse soon. March 11 is our day for clean up of the clubhouse and final preparations. There of course will be a flotilla and cannoneers will ring throughout the Marina. Last year we had our first Opening Day in the new clubhouse, but we restricted visitors as did our neighbors. This year, all of the yacht clubs will be open and it should be a great opportunity to shine and enjoy this fabulous tradition.
We're cancelling the membership dinner for the following week and similarly skipping the brunch as everyone starts preparing their potluck contribution to our welcoming feast. Watch for emails as the planning for this wonderful event proceeds.
