Help out the Officers of the Day

If you're a new member or want better instruction on how to run the clubhouse and host events, please reach out to Rear Commodore Lynette LaScala.  Lynette, together with House Chair Michael Cooper and Membership Chair Thomas Lehtonen want to ensure that everyone has adequate training. See Contact Us page.  Serving as Officer of the Day (OD) can be a rewarding experience.  It is a great opportunity to invite your friends to the club and make new friends among the members.  Lynette has a new manual at the bar to help everyone refresh on their responsibilities when they are in charge.  Every member is expected to serve as OD a couple of times a year.  Learn how to make that part of the enjoyment of the club.

As we implement more regular Officer of the Day shifts, please remember to help the OD fulfill their duties.  When an OD is on shift, members are not allowed behind the bar, unless the OD specifically asks for the member's help.  Please be sure to offer help, but perform the duties the OD actually wants.  Success by the Officer of the Day keeps the club open more regular hours and makes the club more inviting to our members and guests.  Let's all support them.
